So out here in Strathmore it has been so hazy the last couple of weeks- I wouldn't describe it as fog because it isn't it is just moisture hovering in the air making it gray, hazy and a little depressing - it's a good thing I don't get the baby blues because if I were suicidal this weather might be what pushes me over the edge but thankfully I am not so instead I find things to keep me happy and I am happiest when I am busy so today I looked at my Little Miss and thought - haircut! So not wanting to venture out into the gray abyss that is our outside I thought I could do it! So this is our morning adventure...
I'll start by saying she was not as excited as I was...
But a mother knows her daughter and therefore I found her soother and all was well! (note her "noculars" doesn't go far without those these days)
The first cut - maybe I should have put down the camera to do it!
So far so good - it does help that being the smart Mom I am I brought a movie on the laptop into the bathroom to keep her attention!
The finished product- I think it looks great (notice no smile- no soother!!)
