I just like to start each post with a picture of T-man so you can all see how very adorable he is- this was a big month for him- more to come. April was a really busy month in our house and I didn't get pictures of it all and I am very sad about that... I have been trying very hard to capture our life this year and well all you are going to get is the details on some of it...We spent Easter down in Barnwell and were very graciously hosted by Uncle M and Aunt C - the Easter Bunny found us at their place Whew! Brody was a little worried but come Easter morn the house was strewn with eggs all for the picking!!! (no pics but Aunt C. did post one on my Facebook page so feel free to check it out!) Also this month we had Spring Break and we decided to head up to Edmonton for the day to hit the Waterpark and Galaxyland- when one is planning a day trip one should consult the weather... it doesn't matter if on the morning you get up and it is like 15 degrees and blue sky - that can change at any moment!!! This was the Thursday when there was the complete, havoc raising, white-out, car piling up snowstorm! We were so blessed to have left Edmonton right when we did and to have pulled up to Red Deer just as the Police closed the Highway causing us to seek refuge in a less than stellar Motel.. the kids thought it was all part of the adventure meanwhile Cory and I thanked Heavenly Father for watching out for our family as we were informed the next day of the 40 car pile up by the Olds exit and as we were driving home the next day we saw that the ditch was full of car parts! Anyway again no pics just memories! So here are the documented moments:
Yup! Cooper lost yet another tooth he is missing like 5 now!
Brody was all smiles this month b/c he turned 5 and has asked each day since if he can go the BIG kid school!
The "Blizzard" turned 25 this month so we wanted to celebrate by covering ourselves in melted ice cream- oh wait that was just Ivy!
Max went to his first Cub Car rally and he did great- he had a lot of fun working on his car "The Phoenix" with his Dad and he won for "Most realistic car!"
This has been fun Ivy has stopped napping which often leads to days like this with her sleeping at like 5pm- Super Fun!
Tanner got the coolest bouncy, spinny, musical toy. Its pretty much a party and he loves it, it is so fun to watch him get bouncing in it! Max was honored for a story he wrote about Earth Day by getting to go to the Circle of Excellence (second time this year- sorry that was uncalled for)
More on this in the next post but don't they look awesome!
And once again to end with Tanner this is how he ended up not how he started- guess who's on the move! Yay! he's rolling over both ways!
May's calendar is really full, all 3 older boys start baseball this month with swim club and cubs still going so we will be literally running from place to place this month and not mention our first camping trip of the year so I better get going lots to do!
You HAVE been busy! I thought since you're a STHM (stay at home mom, you just sat around all day!!! hahaha! You KNOW I'm joking!!
ReplyDeleteBrody has such a cute smile!! He's going to be so excited to go on the school bus with his brothers next year! Very cute pics of everyone. Tanner looks especially happy in his bouncer!
