Our 1st Christmas at home!

This was our first Christmas with just our little family at our home. We were so excited. On Christmas Eve we opened 1 gift and to the kids surprise??? they got some new jammies- Big M got Star Wars ones with a blinking light on them (seriously!) Fudgy got Ironman- he was so excited, Bo-Bo got Lightning McQueen and Little Miss got some that said "I am Santa's best gift!" truer words were never printed on a pair of PJ's!!

After we ate our Chinese food ordered from the big city (there is no good Chinese out here and with the price of gas) So after we - the parents not really the kids- we went down to watch the Polar Express in 3D! Very Cool. We covered the pool table with an assortment of junk food from nuts and bolts to candy popcorn to chips n dip to a wide array of candy - this of course the kids ate a lot of! (Little Miss is in bed now)

Then it was time for bed - like I did growing up - we put them to bed in the hide-a-bed and after checking the Norad Santa checker every 15 seconds they eventually fell asleep. Fudge had to get stern with Big M and tell him to stop talking!

I guess Santa found us!

I think he really was that excited for this he has really wanted one!

After a breakfast of cinnamon buns and bacon (requested) we lazily spent the morning playing with our new toys. We then headed into the city for a family dinner and afternoon street hockey game. We had a great Christmas, it was really fun to be home and to see the kids faces when they opened the things we had searched for and found for them. What a great Christmas!
