Our Little Miss
This blog thing is harder than I thought- oh the pressure- I think about this silly page quite often but what to post, is anything going on at our home really newsworthy ~ the answer - plainly "no" I mean not really and do I really want to waste people's time with endless, unnecessary babbling... well maybe... I mean I want you to like coming here, I want you to want to come here, I want you to stay a while and enjoy yourself... what does this say about me. Wow that is a question I would rather not answer. So now that I have babbled on a bit here are you having fun- did I make you laugh or are you just about to click off and remove us from your favorite file!! Anyway it is just under 2 weeks from now and I will be wishing the Little Miss a Happy 1st Birthday. This is a hard thing for me to think - so much harder than it really should be. I think most people know I love babies- I mean I will steal your baby from you until you take it back. I love to hold them, smell them, cuddle them and when the Mom isn't looking I give them little kisses on their perfect little foreheads- I love babies. Now life hands you surprises but if my hubby has much to do with it and really he has quite a lot- our Little Miss is the last baby for this baby lover until , heaven help us, we have grand kids - another very pleasant thought! So as I prepare, and I am not sure how to do that, but as I steel myself for my Little Miss to turn 1 and basically grow up and leave me forever, (maybe a little dramatic) I am posting a few precious pics of her. Put me in your prayers so I can make it through this !
I am so not ready for this...
You'll get through this....this is the fun time...she gets to start learning to talk and then you can have "girlie" chats with someone all the time!!!!
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is "AWWWWWW!" What a CUTE KID!
ReplyDeleteJust think ... She'll be calling you 'MOM' in a little while, after that your heart can break and you'll smile the biggest ever. You'll have to make a concrete memory of that though, so when she is 14 and screaming your name 'MOMMMMM" you can remember how innocently she recognized you!
ReplyDeleteGive Ivy and the Boys hugs and kisses from Aunt Sherry. Love and miss you all.
Happy 1st Birthday Ivy! I know it is hard Christine but just think of the fun phase you are moving into. She will be running around, giving you hugs and kisses and telling you that she loves you or missed you - it will just melt your heart. A mother-daughter relationship is so wonderful and I bet you and Ivy will be as close as any!
