Wow! 2 posts - 1 day! I am not planning on doing this often - share recipes on my blog, I view this as our family journal for all our friends to read- so not super personal stuff but hopefully sometimes funny but I made these for our family the other day and well they are Amaaaazing! So good, like putting a piece of Heaven in your mouth!
Cinnamon Bun Pancakes
1-½ cup All-purpose Flour
3 Tablespoons White Sugar
½ teaspoons Salt
4 teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
2 whole Eggs Beaten
1 cup Milk
2 Tablespoons Corn Syrup
¼ cups Butter, Melted
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
Preparation Instructions
In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon with a whisk. Whisk well to make sure everything is combined.
In separate large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, corn syrup, butter and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium/low heat. Pour about 1/4 cup batter onto griddle. Brown on both sides.
Serve warm with icing drizzled over the top. (don't worry the icing recipe is coming...wipe that drool off your face!)
Maple Butter Icing Syrup (syrup is used loosely this is really just icing!)
1 cup Powdered Sugar
¼ cups Butter, Melted
Dash Of Salt
1 Tablespoon Maple Syrup
¼ cups Whole Milk (more If Needed) (I used Skim)
Preparation Instructions
Whisk all ingredients together until smooth, adding more milk as needed.
Please don't be offended but these are so delicious and so much better than your plain old pancakes (I guess not that I've had them but I am just trying to get you to try them!) - if you love your family you will make these for them and then they will kiss you and hug you and maybe do the dishes for you?! and say you are the greatest Mother in the whole universe! and who doesn't need to hear that! Enjoy!
