March Madness!!

Thank goodness for March and thank goodness its over- I have no love for March- the weather is usually bad and even when its good everything is brown. Now I know March is necessary but in Alberta March is so Blah!!! But this year March brought the sun!!! (and the wind- not nearly as exciting but this is Southern Alberta!!) It has been really nice here this year so we have been enjoying having the kids burn off some extra energy outside! It feels like it has been a long winter even though last winter was much colder and longer but for now our fingers are crossed that the sun is here to stay and spring is on the way! The 3 older boys are signed up for baseball they are so excited to get started and Brody's birthday is coming up so for our family March was a little uneventful but here is a recap of what we did do...

When its windy its a good idea to break out the kites you bought @ Costco 3 years ago and still had the receipt attached to them and go Fly a Kite!

Little Miss wasn't as interested in kites but she sure looked cute for the outing T-Man apparently does not like the wind gusting in his face- who knew?

For breakfast on St. Patrick's Day I made the kids green chocolate chip pancakes and told them that they had Leprchaun Poop in them- they didn't believe me but they were very surprised to hear me say it! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I had a little fun this year- we had a St. Patrick's Day Dinner - Lucky Charms, green milk, green toast (Sobey's had it so fun!!) Table decorations courtesy of Dollarama (love that place!)

Little Miss loved her head gear!
What Adorable Kids!!

Inside the punch bowl full of Lucky Charms were gold wrapped candies so the kids got to "dig" for gold - no really Irish but they thought it was fun.
Best way to finish St. Paddy's Day with a Lime Crush float!

Most Friday nights at our house we order pizza for the kids and they eat it Picnic style while watching a movie and this one was special b/c it was T-Mans first time (I love the Bumbo!!)

Fudge is getting to be such a good reader and he loves to read to anyone who will sit and this time it was T-Mans turn

Our Awesome Cousin Adam got his mission call to Paraguay! so for FHE we learned all about Paraguay and we are a little worried for ol'Adam- good thing he's such a great kid! (I'm so old - I spoke at his baptism!) Bo-bo had beach day @ Preschool and Big M and Fudge had PJ day T-Man broke the 17lbs mark at almost 4 months- he is getting so big and so fast- he is such a happy little man!
So that's the highlights! Busy, busy, busy and my April calendar is already full! I love my life!
